Beanitos chips are made by sustainable crops. Sustainable crops are grown as part of an integrated system of farming where the crops help regenerate the soil for future cultivation. Beans can be considered a superfood for their soil as they lock nutrients into the soil as they grow.
In addition to providing them with healthful carbohydrates, fiber, and minerals, beans are also a source of plant-based protein. Plant-based protein is more sustainable than meat sourced protein because no methane is produced, less water is used per acre and more nutrients are produced per acre.
All Beanitos beans currently grown in the US are non-GMO! All of their products are suitable for vegetarians and are gluten-free, corn-free, nut-free and egg-free.
