THE STORY OF OUR FOODS
Brad’s Plant Based Snacks originated with the intention of creating alternatives to traditional snacks for those who wanted to embrace a plant-based diet but who simply had no delicious, convenient options.
We first developed the recipes for crispy yet firm veggie chips. Next came crunchy kale, broccoli poppers, seaweed kale-chi, and the newest – tortilla chips. We continuously experiment with new recipes to bring you new plant-based snacks.
SNACK WITH PURPOSE
It is well-known that plant-based diets can help lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart-disease. Plant-based diets are also sustainable and have a lower environmental impact than meat-based diet by using less water and generating minimal-to-none greenhouse-gas emissions. MEET OUR CEO
Our CEO, Arthur Pergament, has a profound calling to take plant-based raw snacking mainstream. As a single father of four and a corporate executive, he was living a high-pressured life, which took a heavy toll on his health. Even though he was exercising and keeping his weight in check, in 2009 he felt ill and collapsed during his daily run. He was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with liver failure. As part of his treatment, Arthur’s doctor recommended a raw, plant-based diet to speed up the healing process. After nine months on this regiment Arthur’s health was completely restored and he felt and looked better then ever.
Having this profound personal experience, Arthur began looking to invest in companies that promoted healthy snacks. When he came across Brad’s Plant Based Foods, he knew that it was a company he wanted to be a part of because it offered the highest quality raw snacks on the market. Today, he supports the company’s growth and is on a mission to bring Brad’s Plant Based snacks to everyone looking to live a healthy life.
