We know it sounds strange but it’s true. We are part bean. Not ALL bean, just the part that’s a superfood capable of super things. Because the bean and the chips we make from them are everything we expect from our snacks today: Non-GMO. Non-allergen. Gluten-free.
It all started in our founders’ family kitchen when they fired up the oven and baked some bean chips. It was an experiment that blew everyone’s taste buds clear out of their heads. Not literally of course, but the taste and the crunch were and still are next-level. The best part is, they’re as good on the tongue as they are on the body.
FULL ON FLAVOR
While some kids played with big wheels, we played with herbs (not those herbs) and spices. Safe to say we are obsessed with seasoning. We spend days and weeks and months focused on the complexity of seasoning, the nuance of notes and the array of spices. We mince, dice, dollop, create and taste until there is no doubt in this mad and free world that these chips are full on triangular perfection.
BEAN FARMERS ARE THE BEST FARMERS
Over here at BEANFIELDS, we care just as much about how our chips taste as we do about how the future tastes, and so do our bean farmers. Like attracts like they say, and these farmers know that beans are one of the most sustainable crops to grow. They require less water than other crops and improve the overall soil health. Corn and soy require an increase in fertilizer. Whereas our bean buddies are certified NON GMO.
Oh, and we have great grower relationships with farmers who have been with us since the beginning so we have the highest degree of supply chain integrity you could ask for.
